In a mission to tackle the constant battle between socialising and maintaining a ‘free from’ lifestyle, we have gathered our top 5 go-to spots for a meal with friends or family.

Whether you are gluten free, dairy free, egg free, vegan or soy free; in this list there is something for everyone.

Farmacy

Plant based, GF options

Macro bowl from Farmacy

Suitable for both, vegan and vegetarian diets, Farmacy provides gluten free options and is free from dairy, refined sugar, additives and chemicals. This light and airy interior is the perfect place to hang out for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The main menu is full of variety, with lighter options including salads as well as more comforting options such as their earth bowls and curry. Something to make note of is to leave room for pudding. Deciding between the Raw Banoffee Pie and the Sticky Toffee Pudding is no easy feat, so be warned.

With such a variety, including vegan and gluten free options, it is difficult to decide what to dig into. This restaurant caters for all and is the perfect crowd pleaser, however, be smart and beat the crowds by booking a table at the Camden branch.

Nestled in the heart of East London, Andina puts a Peruvian twist on fresh British produce. With a menu packed full of bright and nourishing superfoods, the healthy food and drink is not to be missed. Our favourites include braised aubergine (Tacu Tacu Quechua) and a sustainably fished sea bass ceviche (Ceviche Andina). This restaurant is the perfect spot for a post work nibble. For those of you who don’t want to head East, they’ve recently opened up a Soho branch with an equally delicious menu.

Black Bean Brownie from Ethos

Situated behind the bustling streets of Oxford Circus, Ethos is the perfect hideaway. With a menu full of delicious vegan and free-from options, their meat-free cuisine caters to all. With a delicious lunchtime buffet and table service dinner, it’s difficult to be disappointed by the choice.
