I absolutely love The Great British Bake Off, it’s one of the few things I refuse to miss; staying in and watching it on a Wednesday evening is just one of my favourite things to do! I couldn’t resist having a go at a little dessert recipe this Wednesday to get myself in the mood for tonight and to show people how to make a traditional dish using alternative ingredients. These are wheat free, dairy free and refined sugar free and they only took 20 minutes to make. Who knew it would be possible to make a healthy yet delicious tart!
- 200g ground almonds
- 30g cacao
- 40g coconut oil
- 75ml maple
- 75g almond butter
- 50g coconut milk
- 25ml maple
- Chopped strawberries to decorate
