This is the yummiest breakfast treat. The combination of caramel Nush with caramelised banana and crunchy chocolate granola is the dream. We like to make a big batch of the chocolate granola and nibble on it all week. This is a firm favourite at the LK office!
- 1 1/3 cup Jumbo oats (140g)
- 2 tablespoons Oat flour (16g)
- 6 tablespoons Maple syrup
- ¼ cup coconut sugar (40g)
- ¼ cup cacao (20g)
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil (25g)
- 2 x large banana
- 1 tablespoon Coconut sugar
- ½ teaspoon Coconut oil
- 2 x pot of Caramel and Hibiscus Nush
- Cacao nibs (10g)
- Fresh banana for topping
- Chocolate sauce
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and line a baking tray with baking paper.
Add all of the granola ingredients to bowl and mix thoroughly, ensuring that all of the oats are evenly covered. Place this into the oven and bake for 20 minutes until crunchy.
Whilst this bakes, make the caramelised banana. Start by cutting the banana into coins and add to a bowl with the coconut oil and maple syrup. Place this in a frying pan and cook on a medium heat until the banana goes golden, soft and gooey.
To assemble, place a layer of granola at the bottom of the glass. Top this with a layer of Nush yoghurt then some caramelised banana. Repeat this process until you have reached the top of the glass. We then decorated ours with some fresh banana, cacao nibs and chocolate sauce.
This is best served straight away!
