If there is something other than cake that we love, it’s coffee. We are big fans of the perfect cup of coffee, whether it’s iced, black or extra strong, we welcome it all! Most of the time we rely on our trusty Nespresso machine, however when we do get out of the office, we are frequent visitors to these shops. Not only do they make the perfect cup of coffee, the atmosphere is so great, it’s really hard to leave!

This is the place to go if you feel like switching up your usual coffee routine. They have an extensive list of interesting lattés that really are as delicious as they look. Our top picks from the menu are the Hibiscus Matcha, Liquid Gold and the classic Chai latté and if you are feeling like a treat, their hot chocolate is to die for. They are all so warming and wonderfully presented; it’s really hard to find a fault. With two beautiful locations, you can find stylish interiors, tranquillity and stripy croissants (yes, they are as wonderful as they sound); so don’t hold back, this café should be at the top of your list.

Brick wood café aims to be your home away from home, pairing delicious brunch with fantastic coffee and a relaxed vibe that will keep you coming back. This café has the best espresso around, so if you are only able to spare 5 minutes, pop into Brick wood and you will leave with the perfect caffeine kick and if you can’t resist (as you know we never can) some smashed avocado on sourdough.

If you are a resident of East London, it shouldn’t be a surprise to you that Second Shot is on our list. With a fantastic atmosphere and a delicious coffee blend, it is our favourite spot to stop when we are laptop ready and want to do a couple of emails, or to sit and do some people watching. Whenever we are prepared and have our millionaires on hand, we cant resist but dunking them in our coffee! They are the perfect accompaniment to a hot cup of coffee – yum!

If you are a frequent visitor to Marylebone, then you need to stop off at Monocle. Monocle fuses global cuisine with delicious coffee and if you are in the mood, a wonderful cocktail (it’s always 5pm somewhere!). With only two locations, one of which is in Japan, this is a fantastic place to stop and snack. We love it here and have no doubts that you will too!
