To celebrate such a fantastic year at Livia’s Kitchen we decided to host a Christmas crumble breakfast. With the launch of our Biccy Boms in February and new listings in Sainsbury’s, WHSmith and Boots, we thought it would be the perfect way to top off the year and reflect how far we have come.
Our event was absolutely beautiful with a massive thank you to Le Creuset, Elizabeth Scarlett, Freddie’s Flowers, Anthropologie, Abigail Warner, Niche tea and Essential Living who went above and beyond to help us pull this off. We honestly couldn’t have created such a wonderful atmosphere without all of their help. Of course, another huge thank you to everyone that attended the breakfast, it was so lovely to have you all there enjoying our delicious treats and Christmas crumble, which was accompanied by some creamy almond milk Nush yogurt. Lastly, a big thanks to Plenish for providing us with lots of yummy chocolate m*lks and juices, they went down a treat!
Here are some of our favourite images from the event, we hope you love them!
We hosted our event at Essential Living’s residential building, Vantage Point, in Archway, North London. We took over the full top floor with amazing panoramic views across the whole of London. It was the perfect space and we were able to turn it into a beautiful festive dining room and kitchen in true Livia’s Kitchen style. The staff there are all so accommodating and were able to help us with anything extra we needed.
Whenever we think of Le Creuset we think of big dishes of comforting hot crumbles. To serve our Christmas crumble at the event we used Le Creuset heritage rectangular dishes in cotton. We’re a huge fan of all of their cookware as they can go straight from the oven to table and look amazing. They also have them in so many vibrant colours.
For the table styling we had to use Anthropologie plates, bowls, mugs and glasses. We are obsessed with all of Anthropologie’s pieces. When we saw their new festive collection we had to have it all! We used their marble boards to serve our Mocha Banana Loaf and Honey Loaf and their bowls for everyone’s crumbles, berries and nut butters.
When we were searching for flowers we came across Freddie’s Flowers on Instagram and automatically fell in love with the brand and their dreamy arrangements. As soon as the flowers were delivered to the venue and we put them all on the table everything looked complete. For the event, they supplied us with a fresh and festive combination avalanche roses, parvifolia, eucalyptus and white berries.
To thank our guests we wrapped up lots of Livia’s Kitchen treats in personalised wrapping paper designed by Abigail Warner. She designed the wrapping paper so perfectly and it added such a thoughtful finishing touch to the gifts.
To scent the space we used Elizabeth Scarlett’s Ellyphant Vanilla Blossom & Tuberose mini candles. The small 5cm sized candles were perfect for scattering across the table. They really added such a special touch to the atmosphere and smelt absolutely divine.
